The Mountaineer Food Bank Veterans Table Program seeks to serve the men and women who have sacrificed and served our country. A monthly food box is provided for veterans and households of veterans.
There are no income guidelines for this program, the only qualification is to have served in the military. MFB partners with the three VA Centers and two community partners in our service area to serve an average of 1000 veterans a month.
MFB is currently expanding this program, making it available for veteran orientated partners to collaborate and facilitate the program.
Annually, MFB distributes over 17 million meals to food-insecure neighbors in 48 of the 55 counties.
